Okay, I know trying to eat healthy is an actual pain in the ASSSS when you are on a budget. It feels like you want to buy produce and then you don't have anything you actually like and you get hungry and then end up eating fast food and then your stomach hurts and it is a never ending cycle of wanting to be better!! So let's be better!

Now, I am no expert on a healthy lifestyle, nor am I anywhere close to it. But I have found myself figuring out things a little here and there so if you yourself are also lost and need a little help then maybe this is a good starting point for you! We can be better together.

So I definitely have some staples when it comes to grocery shopping. Staples are the things I can use so versatilely that I require myself to have them at all times. Or purchase whenever I go shopping if I do not already have them.

These include:

CUCUMBERS- cucumbers and ranch always hit guys like come oNN they are so good. Also very easy to cut, yummy in any cold plant based meal.

GF BREAD- I honestly have a hard time with gf bread, and it is an EXTREMELY limited selection in every store, so I typically just get the Ancient Grain bag of sliced bread from my local Wally World.

CANNED CHICKEN- I am no vegan, and actually love adding chicken into my dinners for extra proteins. Canned chicken has come in handy for multiple last minute meals and is super quick and clean. Its easy to season and make yummy

WHITE RICE/ QUINOA- having this around might be something that everyone has always done, but it is so easy to add something filling to cooked veggies or frozen stir fry packages for when you don't want to do something extravagant.

CORN- idk what it is but I have been OBSESSED with putting corn into literally everything i make recently. It is just so slept on like corn is straight up good as shit and I never acknowledged it until now.

PASTAAA- I like to get just a pre made box of gf df pasta, that way if i decide to only use the noodles from it I can, or I can use the sauce and follow the directions on the box... and probably end up adding corn..

Okay so there is my essentials list, i can make like five different meals from those ingredients alone so that will be coming soon. WOOOOOO
